@swag am not reporting anything from beppe's side but how we just traded Vidal to Bayern is too mysterious and please don't try and convince me about the price, we could have easily put him on an auction and gotten more, Goetze will be hard to get (I really hope we land him) but if Marotta took Bayern's word and sold them a discount on Vidal and we don't get any deal on Goetze then he really got trolled, that's not hard to see

this will not end well unless we already have the player in the bag and just waiting for the right time to announce him.

Why would we wait to announce it Markus? I don't think we have a deal in the bag if this sale was what it's beginning to look like - an unaccounted for move in the last few days. We probably have our backs against the wall on this one and will go about finding a replacement in the AM departments without looking desperate to the rest of Europe, even if we are. I do believe though that Goetze is our primary target given that we just concluded a deal with Bayern who would probably have a softer stance for us than any other buying club at the moment.

negative: Vidal deal was last minute. Will take forever to find a ¾ista. In the end Saponara #10.
positive: Waiting for Vidal medical with replacement already in the bag that's not Saponara or Diamanti.

If Vidal deal was planned, we coulda had our hand in the cookie jar, but since it looks more and more unplanned this is probably going to take a bit out of us to get the big name we probably weren't necessarily prioritising this season.
