There is no certainty the player would accept the return anyway. In the end it would be the player to decide if he wants to return.

Why not have one of the best attacking mids in the world for 2 years and if he likes it here he can tell Bayern he is staying .. if he goes we recover the money and simply put it back in another top trequartista. I dont think we need to make ourselves dependant on building around one player .. rather just have a solid team and if in 2 years we need to sell back Gotze and buy the next big attacking mid so be it.

Tevez gave us 2 years of great play and no one regrets bringing him even though we lost his transfer fee. Also I dont regret signing Morata with his clause... as long as it means we can bring in the quality we need and Juve continues to advance and profit. I try to be less sentimental and think of whats in Juve's best interest. Having Gotze in our line up would be in our best interest.

Vidal is a great great player but he is not a great 10 and we will be improving the team having Gotze in the trequartista position instead of Vidal. Its sad but it will improve us and we are solid in terms of defensive mids. This is the only solace I take in losing Vidal who was my fav player the last few years
