Classy team, but maybe a bit expensive.
Actually, Trabelsi, Mexes, Ferrari, Janko and Diego were the only new players Stu mentioned. I'm quite sure we'd get them cheaper than Buffon alone

Maybe not, but definitely cheaper when you include Thuram and Nedved

Why does everybody want a midget south american who just dribbles? That's waht Diego is and that's what D'ale is. We need a player with some force and some scoring ability. Niether D'ale nor Diego can replace Nedved. Besides, niether is established in Europe. If you want to actually add some serious venom to our midfield, you have to look at Van der Vaart, Rosicky, or if you're a bit more adventurous like myself, you might look at Tomas Buffel.

Yess we WANT a player with dribble & creativity cuz beside DP there isnt any in Juve.....Ned is a hard working midfielder with good pass, but hes not a playmaker that we need....neither is Maresca or Thiago.....it is simply a midget south american that dribbles :D

Buffel ???? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL,Try with Krunoslav Jurcic maybe :D

Yeah, we wouldn't have to spend more than 40m, 55m at most to bring together that team.

Trabelsi - free
Mexes - 8-12m
Ferrari - 4-7m
Jankulovski - 5-9m
Diego - 15m
Gilardino - 10m

That leaves for a total of 42-53m, which isn't a bad amount for six quality players, and considerably less than what we paid for Buffon, Thuram, Nedved and Salas.

because of CM, Ian..

On a serious note though, Diego is a more probable arrival than Van der Vaart for sure, and imo Rosicky too, because unlike the players you mentioned, Diego actually wants to play in Italy.

VDV is Barcelona bound, and Rosicky seems destined for the Premiership, and plus, Diego would be cheaper and younger so I say we take a chance on him. I'm sure that Milan weren't expecting Kaka to take the Serie A by storm as he has, so maybe Diego could do the same.

yeah oh yeah:)

but even 30m is alot to ask of moggi:groan:
Not if Trez leaves to Barca or Chelski for that same amount, and Thuram to Manure for about 8m...

Trabelsi - free No-ones free
Mexes - 8-12m Not unless Didier comes
Ferrari - 4-7m Lets hope Milan don't up the price
Jankulovski - 5-9m I am underwhelmed by the prospect of getting this 26 year old
Diego - 15m Yet another fancy that won't happen
Gilardino - 10m Do you really think this lad will make a difference? Well OK only if we can get rid of Di Vile

That leaves for a total of 42-53m, which isn't a bad amount for six quality players, and considerably less than what we paid for Buffon, Thuram, Nedved and Salas.
Too little on too many, has got us in this state already. If we are to improve and not go further backwards then real money and real talent is needed.

What do you mean "no-ones free"? Trabelsi will be out of contract in the summer which leaves us to pay only his wages. All of the players in my list have already stated that they want to play for Juve, bar Mexes, and all of them are good enough imo.

Trabelsi is one of the best right backs in the world, Ferrari and Mexes are two of the most promising young centre-backs in the world, Jankulovski is a very versatile and consistent performer, Diego will add the lacking fantasy and creativity to our team, and Gilardino is easily one of the best upcoming strikers in Serie A atm. Only Adriano, Cassano, Chevanton and an on form Martins are better.

Look "no-ones free": he is goimg to demand a very large wage per month. We already have one player drawing too much money-lovely eyes Al- can we out bid, say Chelsea- the answer is NO.

Jan is what you say; and not what we need. Deutchland ablaze?

Gilardino, you are right is one of the best in seria A; but we need to look further afield to find Trez a partner.

I reeally, really like those signings...specially the diego´s deal.

he is a very good and creative player.

We need some south american fantasy in our team after all.

I just twist in jealousy when i see ronaldinho playing so weel in barcelona and kaka doing madness in milan. Or even the great aimar.

I can hardly believe how moggi and cia have not noticed this....

    silly.

D'Alessandro does not just dribble, he is an excellant passer, even better than Nedved. If we buy another Nedved, instead of one player running around like a chicken with his head cut off we will have two. No one is at Juve who can control the pace of the game. No creativity, no good through balls, and no one tries to beat defenders anymore at Juve. Jankulovski IMO is just like Nedved, so we will have two. Can Camo or Taccha do what D'Alessandro does? No. Without a D'Alessandro we will play the same as this year, no control and sloppy passing. I hate this style that we play with! We need a natural playermaker, and D'Alessandro fits the bill. He is doing great at Wolfsburg.

No offense to Nedved, he is great and I love him, but he does not have that much creativity. Now with Nedved and D'Aless, we will have the perfect midfield. IMO VDV and Rosicky I have not seen do anything that spectacular.

And about Buffel, is that a joke!

ian have u seen diego, dude, he is a bit of a heavy weight, well not really, but he does have stregnth on the ball, as well as bribble ability.

And Becchi is right we do need a classy passer, somthing we odnt have...neddy isnt really the worlds best passer.

BTW neddy is class, i m not dishing neddy.
