Cheesio is objecting bit too strongly on a fluff comment, but ze marraccan is right on this one, Verratti seems like a quiet and normal kid/young player, but to say he would be the closest thing to Ale is farfetched and random, no real indications to base that on.

Now to what matters....Milan spending 12m on a midfielder    Where's Alens statistical magic when you need it, if we go back like half a decade on money they spent on midfielders, it would prolly turn out as much as we spent on bonucci :p

Maybe his demeanor and personality mirrors those of Alex, but its safe to say that is where the similarities end.

However, as far as determing what his persona will be like in the future if/once he becomes a top level player, its very hard to say at this point.

You are dealing in variables, and that's a pretty difficult formula to base how someone will be in the future

Melo seems to have a BD/Marcelo type (fictional) relationship with Verratti.

What he did when Morosini was having a heart attack was enough for me. This kid is more mature than many of his team mates and colleagues in Serie B.

& btw I was speaking in the context of taking the #10 one day..

They would only need 6M. Genoa would bend over the rest, if needed.

and pshht, the closest thing to Ale in these new generations is that guy, you know, that guy from the balkans...
