Reduce da una stagione con molte ombre e pochissime luci, il terzino destro della Juventus Marco Motta (25) è stato negli ultimi giorni accostato all'Atlético Madrid, nella trattativa che porterebbe Sergio Aguero in maglia bianconera e che lo vedrebbe inserito come parziale contropartita tecnica, al fine di limitare l'esborso di denaro cash per il club di Corso Galileo Ferraris. Riscattato dall'Udinese nel ballo delle comproprietà, il futuro dell'ex capitano dell'Under 21 sembra comunque lontano da Torino, dove quest'anno, con l'arrivo di Stephan Lichtsteiner, gli spazi si sono ulteriormente ristretti. Durante la trasmissione di Sky Sport "Speciale Calciomercato", l'esterno di Merate ha però affermato che la sua preferenza è quella di restare in bianconero, pur non escludendo del tutto un'eventuale esperienza all'estero: "Giocare nell’Atletico non mi dispiacerebbe, mi affascina l’idea di fare un’esperienza all’estero, ma ora sono in un grande club come la Juventus e vorrei restare per riscattare una stagione altalenante".

Motta: Juventus or abroad
Marco Motta would welcome a move abroad if Juventus decide to show him the door before the start of next season.
The defender, signed outright from Udinese just a few weeks ago, could be sold by the Turin giants – even if he wants to prove his critics wrong.
“I would like to remain here,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “For me, right now, Juventus are my team and there is only Juventus.
“I’m really motivated to do well, like never before.
“The only thought I am having at the moment is to have a better season than the inconsistent one I had last term, a campaign which was also affected by my injuries.
“I just want to have a season without any problems.”
Rumours suggest that Motta could be offered to Atletico Madrid as part of the deal that sees Sergio Aguero arrive in Turin.
“I’m ready to try an experience abroad as I think it would be nice to do so sooner or later,” he continued.
Motta was signed by the Turin giants last summer as their new right-back, but the club have now spent €10m of Lazio’s Stephan Lichtsteiner.
