A lot of people were so pleased with this signing -

We have quite a number of great arm chair scouts aye?
Rather tough to account for a spell of form as horrible as the one he is in just now.

I've never thought he was a good defender, but I didn't think it was a bad move to have him as back-up right back when he only cost 1m.

Your siggy is unneeded, imo. There isn't a member here who didn't make a wrong prediction about a player or the team as a whole. You will make plenty of those too if you stick around.
You are speaking to someone who believed the previous Juve management was working for Inter in some sort of anti-Juve conspiracy.

Motta has been so bad:(

Does anyone remember seeing Bonucci and Aquilani screaming at him on pitch yesterday?

Hindsight is wonderful.

Questionable positioning and overall bit average defending plus consistency has generally his flaws in his career, while generally showing overall promising qualities as a full back, mainly going forward and being quite dynamic type of player (generally was a decent cheap squad player pickup).

If he had been this god forsaken awful (not average defending, but AWFUL) as he has been for us throughout his career, he wouldnt have been in Azzurri, played in Roma and now in Juve. So yeah, as I said, hindsight is wonderful, especially when you are talking about a 3 months period in someone's overall (still young) career.

He hasn't been this awful in his career, there is no doubt about that. But for him to play this bady in an overall much more solid Juve side shows that he doesn't have the character to play for us. Imagine him in last years team, bloody hell.

Yep, defenitely not good enough, and he wont be around for next summer. But just giving context to the clown that was BSing in hindsight.

He seems to be getting a bit too much first team action. He got replaced earlier with Grygera and that guy on loan from Napoli that Bari wanted, both injured. Sorenson, a youngster is the only one who he needs to compete with to get the RB spot and he even lost that battle imo.

I loved how he marked Vargas by keeping distance to at least 2m between them, and than trying to block crosses by stretching his leg :D
