No doubt about that, Motta will be the future RB for the Italian NT. Id expect him and Maggio to fight for the spot over the next two years.

We lost 2-1.

They dominated the first half, but we really came back in the second half. We missed a glorious chance to make it 2-2, but oh well. Considering were a small club with a tiny budget in a pretty crap league, we took it to a mid level EPL team.

AEK won every game, and Aussie Nathan Burns scored the winner against Rangers.

Motta/Maggio----Chiello-------Ranocchia/Bonucci----------Santon/Criscito
spot on....but i think you'll find if motta, chiellini and bonucci are solid for juve, they will start together for chemistry reasons.

Maggio can also play as a RW so who knows what prandelli has in store for this team.

Who the fuck is Santon? he didn't played last season, why u rate him so high?
ease up...he is more talented than any other full back option we have. Plus he can play both sides well.

haha , so true

Motta didn't played too much last season either.

Santon is a great talent, too bad he plays for Inter.

no offense mate , being talented doesn't mean he is great automatically or do you guy rate him so high based on FM ? :p
he need to move somewhere else and show his "greatness" to convince peoples , he sure has a talent but the way peoples overrating him is redundant , moreover he is merda's

prandelli didnt include him in his squad selection :shifty:

he preffered antonini :howler:
cassani maggio and zaccardo
motta is by far superior to the likes of maggio zaccardo antonini and cassani...

off topic, how did your team perform vs blackburn?
Maybe Prandelli actually watched some of his performances last season when he was bad enough to get benched for other Roma RB's. I don't know why it's such a surprise.

This is too much of a knee jerk reaction to the game against Shamrock (like the "who needs Dzeko, we've got Amauri" post). Cassani and Maggio actually did perform for a whole season.

Yeah on the run towards the end clearly every will come off good, that's football. Maybe listening to Roma fans point him out as the weak link in many games has left a bad impression, I guess every team needs one. Regardless, I don't rate him, at times he is very weak but has a good all round game.

Thats the thing. Just because you are a better doesn't mean the player is better always. There's a reason Cassetti was favoured over Motta. Doesn't mean Cassetti is better or Motta is worse. Motta has a lot to prove. Cassetti has proved that he's average who had a solid season. Motta has to prove that he's solid who had an average season.

Not one to argue too much, been fan of Motta since Atalanta debute, but may I ask if you would said the above if he wasnt a Juve player? I doubt it, was little to no murmurs about him in this forum before we signed him, except the typical few who followed him a while. The reason I'm quoting you is, he isnt far superior to Maggio and Cassani AT ALL.
