I know this sounds like a joke but, why the need to buy a second choice gk?
we have rubinho who has started in serie a teams and is a solid keeper, we can just promote him and have a young bloke for 3rd choice.

I suppose it's because of Buffon's prior injury record. You wouldn't really want Rubinho in goal for months at a time.

If you could say Buffon would only miss a few games a season then fine, we could promote someone like Gallinetta or Fiorillo as 3rd choice.

Fiorillo seems like he could be a good keeper. He had some really nice displayings for Sampdoria.

Storari is a very decent goalkeeper.He is 2nd goalkeeper only to our "superman" Gigi.He will be first choice almost in all other Serie A clubs.Almost.We should keep him .

I can't find anything about Storari's contract renewal... his previous contract ended 30 June 2014 but since he's still here that should mean he renewed.

He is registered for Champions League so he must have had his contract renewed.
