Chievo Verona are set to be disappointed in their attempts to sign Juventus goalkeeper Marco Storari.
The minnows are preparing to net a new 'keeper given that Stefano Sorrentino has made it clear that he’d like to sign for Palermo.
Chievo like the look of Storari, but it’ll be a tough ask for them to complete the custodian’s capture.
Although the veteran is not guaranteed first team football in Turin, he’s hoping to net a new improved deal with the Old Lady
Storari is looking for a pay rise at Juve – he’s currently on €1.2m a season – after he replaced the injured Gigi Buffon for a period last term.
Storari is thus unlikely to accept a move to a club whose top earner, Sergio Pellissier, is understood to be on just €500,000 a campaign.
