I'm not at all surprised to see the anti-materazzi crap being posted in this thread, but you've all got to be realistic for a second. Matrix may not be the most likeable guy, but he's better than any of our current central defenders and he's a skilled player who gives his best.
Thats where some disagree Ian - like me - I don't think he's skilled nor gives his best (well he probably gives his best in breaking anyone's legs anyway) I have no problem with butcher-type of players if they're actually GOOD, but Materazzi's, well, not.
