You're killin' me buddy. Pretty sure I read that this negotiation is open until June 20th, so I think you may have to wait a little while - especially because we aren't paying 8M, and he's not going to be making 2.5M+ again. Still, you may get your wish.

If Borriello is signed permanently for €3m-€4m I won't mind as long as it means Matri, Quag & Vuci stay plus we get one or two other top fowards.

True dat. He must have put in an enormous work rate and Conte saw the heart he had in doing it. A coach like him has to love that despite the immediate signs. Still could be a useful cog. But a cog no better.
