The only positive about seeing him in action was him winning almost every aerial duel, which reminded me of Amauri at his scarce glorious days with us.
Even Zigic is good at that.

Borriello's duty today was to dive and he did it poorly. He's bloody clumsy and there's no positive thing about this guy. Overhyped as hell, he should be a starter for mid table teams and even there he wouldn't be great.

Big players who can win the ball in the air could be very useful to the team, as long as they have other qualities beside only being good physically, and Borriello lacks those qualities.

I was kind of happy that Esti didn't pass him the ball on that incident, Borriello shouldn't score :p

He was bad last night, but I do understand that this is probably his first start of the season with either Roma or Juve. Showed desire, and I'm pretty happy that the fans applauded him last night, that's the spirit.

he can get better, he needs match fitness. not sure we can provide that though with Quag and DP aiming for a bigger game time in the second half of the season we are already set.

That reminds me of Harry Redknapp's quote on Zigic in 2006:
"He was the tallest bloke on the pitch by a yard, but never won a single header all night.

They were asking £5 million for him. Afterwards, his agent came up to me and said 'I don't think £5 million will buy him'.

I replied 'I know, I'm one of them'."
:D
