Apparently he said the same thing about joining his boyhood club with Milan.

Most players say some version of it. Take Kaio Jorge for example, he said his dream was to play for Juve, but never really expanded on it. I’m not holding that against him, it’s all PR, but when Loca says it and explains it and posts photos of himself as a kid wearing a Juve shirt (as well as turning down literally every other club,) it makes it easier to believe that in his case it’s a little more.
