Cometh the hour, cometh the man.

He started poorly but had a decent game. Credit to him for taking the penalty brilliantly under a huge amount of pressure both for the team and knowing the abuse he would get if it cost us.

He shouldn't be the one in charge of building our play and probably shouldn't be a starter but he had a decent season overall. A few very good performances, a few very poor ones.

Finally stepped up to his captaincy role taking that pen only time he gets a pass from me
I agree. Captain's performance but the celebrations from him in the end were a bit exaggerated. I think he should know Conte will expect more from him next season.

He still hasn’t lived up to the hype and expectations. He’s played in different systems (lack of) and different coaches. Conte will be the true litmus test

Totally i agree but for now let him enjoy how it feels to not be mentally weak then they will learn how to be ambitious like you said we need someone to come in and instill that sorta environment

Say what you want about Locatelli, but that penalty took massive balls to step up and take.

Credit to him for doing it.

And while I wouldn't call him a great player by any means, he's one of the handful I'm more than happy to keep going into next season. There are A LOT of guys I dream of never suiting up for Juve again. He's not one of them.

Definitely. Had a few poor outings but was definitely up there with Thuram, Di Gregorio, Kolo Muani, Yildiz and probably Conceicao too for his first half of the season.

They might be when looking at expectations but it's also perfectly understandable after having this much pressure on their shoulders...

Good penalty , but that's it.

As long as this guy is captain , it means that nothing changes .
Had a situation in the first half , when a Venezia player cleared a ball from their penalty box and our capitano , being at 35 meters from Venezia 's goal , with the nearest Venezia player being 15 meters away from him , instead of making a simple stop on the ball and then turn to face Venezia's goal , he just sky's the ball by making a forced clearance that ends up to an incoming opposition player who launches a counter.

Remember there is no one besides him , a 3 million / year player , doing Sunday league football plays.
A mental midget.

I'm not sure this is accurate. He was near the touchline, I'd say closer to the Venezia dugout than the goal and a Venezia player was closing in with little cover behind. He launched it into the sky and towards the other wing where we had more cover, possibly a bad move and definitely not elegant but we got the ball straight away and retained it.

I remember it because the commentator compared it to the mistake Hans did on our second goal where he tried to bring the ball down instead of clearing it.

Could be as you put it , but it shows how average he is . Modric at 38 would put the ball down and find a teammate in that low pressure play.
Guys like Loca just sky's the ball.

We need someone more technical in that midfield to compliment Loca and even Thuram. But with Conte I don’t think Locas spot is safe. He likes guys with engines to play next to a technical CM. It’s why I think he could get dropped back to CB

He played fine I suppose. But when pundits on X say “I wouldn’t trade him for anyone”, you have to admit that this must be some sort of JJ cult player. I wouldn’t want him leading my midfield under any circumstance and I could choose at least ten others I’d rather have in the same role. I see him as a Tacchinardi. This dude could play that role but he needs Davids and Zidane next to him. Unfortunately we can’t get Camavinga and Doue, but at least we have Thuram.
