He took out 4 Turkey players with one pass that led to our first goal. And it was a forward pass. I’ll sign him just for the forward pass alone.
:agree:

Arthur couldn’t manage to do that once this year for us :lol2:

For all the BS about him having a bad game, he had two key passes in the lead up to the first two goals against the Turks. Forced a good save from the Turkish keeper as well.

The guy passed the ball forwards more in one game than Bentancur has done in an entire season.

I hope we sign him ASAP. Wish we could have gotten Barella too when he was available. If we hadn’t stupidly sacked Beppe when we did, we’d probably have had both players with us already.

If we sign him, watch how quickly the smooth-brains on this forum will be eating their words and changing their minds about him just like they did with Chiesa.

The boy is quality and that’s a term that doesn’t apply to any of our current CMs.

100% this. If we hadn’t gone full retard with sacking Beppe and then sacking Max instead of the squad revolution he wanted, we’d already have Barella and Locatelli, and our midfield would be a position of strength right now.

Would be beyond retarded to miss out on another top level young Italian mid, because “hurr durr Italians are all jabronis” according to some of the muppets. This guy is already twice the player any of our current mids are.

What was frustrating about Arthur is that at most times he'd look up and see the player movement in front of him and then chicken out to even try that forward pass and just pass sideways (or mostly backwards) to someone else.
It'll be so refreshing to see someone take that slightly higher risk and push the play forward

True.

Even Fagioli, who played like few minutes last season, made a ballsy and accurate long pass. Kid is like 20.

First De Paul then Locatelli. Who we gonna buy in midfield, probably some low price mofo like Ramsey.
Pjanic

Locatelli is the first choice for Juventus, Tolisso is the alternative option, Juventus can’t afford signing both due as no player sales has been made to be used in the transfer budget , Juventus will make an approach with Sassuolo in the coming days. (Sky)

Tolisso would be terrible. He is an injury prone player.

Its simple one midfielder will surely arrive, the other one - we have to offload someone first, there is no space in the squad. So please offload Ramsey and Arthur.

We have room in the squad. Ramsey is sure to leave.
That leaves us with
Bentancur
Arthur
Mckinnie
Rabiot for 3 spots. We currently would need 2 more to have a full squad if Ramsey leaves

Depends who you sign in other areas, you have 21 non HG spots to fill the squad

Szczesny, Perin
De Ligt, Demiral, Chiellini, Bonucci
Cuadrado, Danilo, Alex Sandro, Frabotta
Bentancur, Arthur, McKennie, Rabiot
Chiesa, Kulusevski, Bernardeschi
Ronaldo, Dybala, Morata

So without Ramsey that's 20, if you add another mid to replace Ramsey you have a full squad already. Then whoever you sell will need to be replaced as well. So we need one HG player to replace someone else to free up a spot (most likely and most conveniently Perin out Mirante in) to add that 2nd mid. Or stick to Fagioli
