Samir Handanovic!

Was simply brilliant in Juve-Rimini 0-0 last year.

He's a very solid and reliable 'keeper. Definitely the best foreign 'keeper in Serie A after Julio Cesar.

is this a poll for who the worst keeper in the world is??
i remember when manninger got his chance at arsenal, i seriously thought he was gonna be a world-class shot-stopper, his reflexes and point-blank stops were breathtaking. never quite fulfilled his potential but he would eb a very good backup keeper

He is difenately bitter than lehmann and seaman....Arsenal never had great keepers from what i've seen since 94-95 season till now, lehmann wasn't even good enough untill few years ago before he was soo bad when he went to milan that he left the club after he's first season there, with arsenal so many stupid goals where scored against him in he's first season there. Seaman was an "ok" keeper no more. From what i've seen from handanovic last season and this season i can say that he could be one of the best in the near future....I really rate him pretty high.....

He is not better than Lehmann, Lehmann is a top keeper, and one of the biggest reasons we reached the CL final 2 years ago. He's still a class keeper, dont be fooled into thinking he's a bad keeper just because he didnt make it in Milan. He's a class keeper as far as i'm concerned.

Believe me i've watched lehmann even before he ever played in arsenal in he's days with Dortmund. He never impressed me, many times he made deadly mistakes with dortmund and with arsenal (specially in he's first season with them) and in the game against chelsea in the champions league that year (remember).

Agree that he played good in the year that arsenal were in the champions league final but other than that year he was completly a No body. U can't call a keeper "a great" keeper if he only impresses one season at the end of he's career as a player !!

Come on, be realistic.
He IS a class keeper, but he has too much howlers if you ask me. A friend of mine is also an Arsenal fan, and even he admits it.

According to reports in Italy, Juventus are closing in on the free transfer signing of veteran Bologna goalkeeper Francesco Antonioli.

The Bianconeri are looking for a new shot-stopper to act as a deputy for Gianluigi Buffon, as current number two Emanuele Belardi did not impress when he was called into action last term.

A host of goalkeepers, including Mark Schwarzer and Carlo Cudicini have both been heavily linked recently, but the former has transferred to Fulham, while the latter wants first team football.

Sources in Italy are claiming that Juve are closing in on Bologna goalkeeper Antonioli, who is available on a free transfer as his contract has expired.

Antonioli, who will turn 39 in September, has had a long career already spanning 22 years, and has played for Milan, Roma and Sampdoria.

The Monza-born custodian travelled to Euro 2000 with the Italy national team, however he never did play for his country. His most prized moment came in 2001 when he won the Scudetto with Roma
