Roma winger Amantino Mancini could be at the disposal of boss Roberto Mancini with Inter next season.
The Brazilian is said to be on the verge of a capital exit and sources close to the Nerazzurri insist he is a transfer target.
Although Valencia are also keen on the player, Internazionale would be able to meet the Giallorossi’s £7m asking price.
The San Siro giants were believed to be keen on Rodrigo Taddei but they are ready to snub the Siena ace.
Inter are hoping that Taddei will instead join Roma – a move that looks almost certain to happen seeing as he is available on a free transfer.
Taddei could be unveiled as a Roma player as soon as this week, as he has reportedly agreed a three-year deal worth around £700,000 a season.
The Stadio Olimpico outfit’s capture of Taddei would then allow them to release Mancini to their northern rivals.
Mancini could actually make his last Roma appearance against his possible future employers.
The Giallorossi face Inter in the Coppa Italia Final next month, which will be played on June 12 and June 15.
