Impossible as MAnchester City is in debts and had to sell SWP to raise up some money. Pearce cannot afford no DP's transfer fee nor his wages
They got €32m for SWP. You don't think they might invest even a little of that. Del Piero would have wages of what, €5m a year? Probably less if he was joining them. Yes, it would hurt his NT career. No, it's not impossible. I don't think it'll happen though.

If Dp has to go, a big club or a relatively small one in Italy.

Never in England for they wrestle instead of playing football. Dp's physical condition will never allow him to do that if he wants to play for another several years.

It is possible that we loan him to a small club in Italy, say Samp~, but the possibility of playing abroad is very tiny, and impossible to England, I believe.

Actually Man City's offer = a 2 year loan deal. Therefore they would 'only' pay for DP's wages and no transfer fee.
Absolutely not. If that is all they have to offer we will send him elsewhere.

If they can't offer anything better I don't think he will be going anywhere else as I can't see anyone really wanting to get him and his wages.

And they would probably get that money back from Del Piero's commercial value.

They don't play CL football though and the national side isn't exactly known for calling up players that play abroad.
Roma, Fiore and Di Vaio received call-ups from Lippi despite not playing for an Italian club and we all know how much Marcello loves Alex. I'm sure that he'd make the WC squad if he did well outside of Italy.

Del Piero should've gone to Arsenal instead. (That's if he was looking at the EPL)
I'm not sure he would have wanted to compete with the likes of Henry, Reyes, Bergkamp and Van Persie for a starting place. He needs to go somewhere where he will play regularly like Man City or Tottenham or Sampdoria. His days as a first teamer in a top European club are well and truly numbered.
