They're so used to seeing us as C's, we can even yell the loudest we can that we're Gs, we can show them the PM from the narrator, and they still won't trust us.

Was G first time out, not a good way to start since was too new for peeps here, hence couldnt really operate as usual. But since then, sadly not been, just jailer twice, annoyingly enough. And with my history to be whacked, I would prefered BG, that would ensure playing long enough to contribute. Can talk myself out of lynch, but not whack (especially when I made myself suspicious enough to avoid whack, I was still automatically whacked).

There is a role one can add that would give an added bonus to the Gs and would spice things up:

Recruiting:
Gangesters can recruit 1 civillian any time they want during the game. Recruiting does not apply for the detective or the bodyguard. The lawyer and any other civillian can be recruited and thus become a gangester. Gangesters has to submit 3 names to the narrator. The narrator will make a draw and let gangesters who is the recruiter. The recruiter will be informed also. The players at large will NOT be informed that there has been a recruitment. They have to figure that by themselves.
Wow, that just sounds exciting :D

The purpose of drawing 3 names is just so they cant draw the BG and D and be told you cant recruit, instantly finding out its the special roles. Hence 3 names means mathetmatically guranteed a recruit without having confirmation of the special role.
I think it's still better to ask the narrator to PICK one member randomly instead of choosing one among three names. Suppose that I give you (the narrator) three names and you give me one (who is neither the BG nor the detective). Of course I might have given you three names none of which has such a role but there's still a very good chance that I'd picked the BG/detective and this makes me go to whack the two you hadn't given to me as the recruiter :D

Yeah, but thats the thing, if you have 3 names, and get back 1 name you recruited from the narrator, you CANT assume its solely because they were special roles, yes it makes it slighlt more plausible, but also is mere chance. If you give 3 recruitable civilians (jailer and lawyer included) and get one of them back after narrator randomly drew from them, then doesnt suddenly make the other two BG and D. You might think that as a foolish G and act on it, but you would be hurting your own chances with quick and foolish conclusions.

What it could be used for though, is when you basically know the D (and is being protected, usually BG does that, havent noticed it once in this forum though :D), and the BG too, atleast have a hunch, and you put them two in the list, you know you cant get them, but what you are doing is ensuring you get the 3rd name. Which is a vocal and influential civilian you WANT on your side and would improve your chances by controlling votes (thats what I did in above scenario, BG and D was somewhat known, wanted this guy).

Or you can do a minor version of it, of the 3 names, 1 is BG, and the other 2 is two good and smart Cs who you think will be useful. Everything to improve your chances as a G. For example recruit the lawyer, have him save the subject, and see the silly Cs think that saved G is C now :D

If you let narrator pick for you (randomly in general, not amongst 3), then it wouldnt really be your choice or candidates, no real advantage for you as a G. Imagine if you got a foolish mofo who is already suspicious for everyone, and if by getting to know other Gs, can give it away in the thread by backing or following you in an obvious way etc?

You spend far too long thinking about this game.
Lol, very easy for me to remember things (and analyze or over analyze), and last time I played a game with the above role was over a year ago, and I remember every possible scenario one played with then :p Hence sharing ze possible mind games of it, if its to be introduced here.

    Geez.

I can't even remember what happened in the game that is currently in progress, never mind any previous ones.

    Me?

I thought it was a weird move.

I wasn't really making much by way of allegations and quite a few people seemed to suspect me of being a G, so I may well have been lynched within a day or two.

Why don't you tell him that we'd actually figured his role out too even before he revealed it publicly on the thread? :D

We would have known about JBF way before that night if it wasn't for my mistake :p

JBF; Thing is that it would have been unfair if Tahir had decided to count Buck's vote. We revoked Aaron's too (who had voted for Bisco) and even in that case, it was Bisco who was going to get lynched.
I will never forgive you for that. If you had just trusted me and sent me that *** we would have got all 5 of them by day 3.

People would be calling us geniuses until now.

I was talking about Tahir's decision to lynch Bisco eventhough we had a 4-4 votes each. he opted for Bisco and the disqualification of Buck's vote which he accepted previously and was asked about before being given.

Yet your influences on him made him back down from his previous decision thus lynching Bisco or else had it been a C being lynched we would have had draw in numbers after the whack that did actually turn successful hence us winning the game.

Oh, And Im proud with my Arab mentality.
    Its gotten us very far.

    Really?

I said something rather offensive about the bodyguard for not protecting the detective.

I thought Red whacking was odd indeed, considering you basically did a semi favour to Cs, its what I usually call the best of a worst case scenario. The Gs whacking suspicious Cs for you, and making things more clear and closer to finding Gs. Instead of whacking clear or obvious civilians, or even cleared ones. So if someone gets whack, its better to the be the former type of Cs.
