Yes, because if Cuti's a G, you're sacrificing him. He'll be gone sooner or later anyway, you might as well save yourself in the process.

I must admit that as a gangster i'll be capable of sacrificing a fellow gangster if it means saving my ass and bringing a win in the end, but even as a gangster i wouldn't sacrifice a fellow gangster so early in the game.

People forget fast, and some of them aren't bright enough. One wrong word, one mistake, and they forget that i killed a gangster. They will start voting for me.
Sacrificing a gangster might work in the middle or in the later stages of the game, but not so early into the game.
