Matt is no plain C playing Sheik-like games with us. That means he has three possible roles, one of them probable, one possible and one pretty unlikely

1. He is a G.
- The BG is Snobist and I'm communicating with the BG. He knows I'm not a G. If the Gs did nothing, then the D would have made contact with Snobist already and a BG-D combo is deadly to the Gs. He knows who was investigated. If a C was investigated, then the D won't gun blaze tonight and if they whack him, the D is terminated for good. If it was a G, then the D will gunblaze the investigated G, but that G (especially if it was Matt) was gonna die anyway.

2. He is the BG
- He sees the thing with Snobist. He doesn't want to rush and that's why it took him a lot of time to say that he is the real BG. Nothing makes sense to him. He probably thinks that Snobist is just a plain C, but he's trying to figure out what is really happening. He is waiting for the D to do the job tonight.

3. He is the Detective.
- Veryyyy unlikely, but it might work if he makes the Gs think he's the BG and won't try to whack him. Especially if he investigated a G and after reading the thread realized who else might be G. This is a 1% possibility.

This is such a noninformative post. Do you agree that there is no way Matt is a G who was not investigated last night, yet came out to claim he is the BG?

This is such a noninformative post. Do you agree that there is no way Matt is a G who was not investigated last night, yet came out to claim he is the BG?

It would make very little sense if it was the case, indeed.
The only way they'd decide to do it is if someone here incidentally mentioned all three Gs and they thought they are caught, or if they tried to stop a BG-D communication. If I was a G and the D investigated a C, I wouldn't have lied that I'm the BG.

what is this supposed to tell us? if you were coming out as the jailer then you would have told us who you were jailing before you jailed someone?

snobist, i honestly dont even care what your role is anymore. You might not be a G but you are fucking over this game for the Cs either way. Kill snobist tonight, his ass needs to go for sure.
