Has it been that recent? I know very little of him other than he is injury prone and inconsistent. It just seems like a big gamble to me.

His two best seasons were 2010-11 and 2011-12. He was also quite good in 2009-10.

He started being benched in 2012-13 when United bought Van Persie. Yes he is inconsistent but I'll never understand why Ferguson and then Moyes preferred playing Valencia on the right to him because on form, Nani is much better.
