Definitely yes to Nani.

Last year Conte didn't use 4-3-3 beacuse we didn't have a RW in our team, but if were to get Nani (and with Pepe coming back from injury) he would surely use it more. This year we will have to brake many opponents who will put 10 players behind the ball. If we play 3-5-2 Asamoah is starting, if we play 4-3-3, it's Nani. Rest of the team stays the same.

If people always complain that Asamoah is great defensively but cack going forward then surely he'd be fine as a LB in a 4 man backline because he would not have any burden to provide the attack and could concentrate on what he does best which is being a fast, strong black man, no?
LCM to LWB is like a step sideways, just moved to the flank. That is essentially all he plays, his usual game from a wide area. LB you are asking a guy to play as a fullback defender, and that is different.

In theory he'd be quite capable there, but the positional and tactical sense needed to play as an orthodox fullback is quite different (offside trap, positioning on diagonal balls etc).

Strong rumours. Been mentioning him for the last couple of days on OTM. :p
If we sell both Matri and Quag then I think it'll happen. I doN,t know how much he makes but I think we'd like for him to lower his wages. :D

Forget about us for a second, how does Nani find logic in this move? He does know that we're a 3-5-2 with no real material to consistently play a formation where he could start every game.

Good point. Who knows what Conte really thinks. He may look at other formation for the post Pirlo and go back to a formation with wingers. :boh:
