Since taking charge of Roma in the summer, Luis Enrique has won many admirers for the Giallorossi’s attacking style of play. And the Spaniard intends to stick to these principles when his side travel to face the Bianconeri on Sunday night.
The 41-year-old said: “I’d never settle for a draw before a game. I prefer to risk everything to win. There’s a clear difference as far as the league table’s concerned, but in a one-off game I believe it’s an open encounter.”
Despite Roma finding away wins hard to come by, Luis Enrique insists his men will not lack spirit in their quest to gain all three points at Juventus Stadium.
“We’re playing to gain a place in Europe - a considerable motivation in itself. We could also be the first team to beat them, and do so on their own soil. Of course, you can’t make mistakes against Juventus, any errors will be punished.”
