since nobody on here, even the all-knowing, 24/7 football pundit, whose apparent 'knowledge' of football stretches back to before he was out of nappies bjerkness, can say for sure, how much control, if any, delneri had of the transfers during his tenure...its extremely hard to judge him. All I can judge him upon is the morale of the squad, tactics, team selection and substitutions. On those measures, he appeared predictable, inflexible and in terms of squad morale; inept.

He always seemed like a decent chap, but we need a tough guy in charge, not a nice guy. we need a man who instills fear of failure, determination and belief to succeed and confidence. That was never delneri's forte. A lovely chap, but not Right in any way for this present Juve.
