If we lose tonight that's very likely IMO.
You mean DN will resign ?

Am pretty sure he won't even if we ended up barely above the relegation zone at the end of this season. This is a once in a life chance for him, there is no way he will resign unless he was fired.

And i don't think our guys will fire him any time soon, Andrea Agnelli said the other day that one season can't tell much and that by next season if results + performance doesn't get better then maybe they'll think about replacing him.

Our recent results are terrible and I don't see us sticking to him if we lose to be honest.

But it's too hard to predict such thing really.

Yes and who would take over his job? Our youth coach? Conte on a contract? or Gasperini

The lack of options is the only reason why Delneri is still here.

Not really. He's here because our board trusted him when they even considered him for longer plans.

There are options, we always found some coach (Zaccheroni, Ciro etc.) after one was sacked but it depends who that person is. Roma also 'didn't have' options but Montella landed in the end.

Yes, he did not wanted quantity over quality and a bunch of overpriced mediocre Italians and he was right on that...
uh yes, thats why he wanted boumsong ! enough said ... don't jerk off, just because didier went away and found some success. it's nto guaranteed that he would have made us look better in the 5 year plan.

No, he was brought here because our board trusted him. Don't know how lively that trust is, don't think the board is happy with the results now and all the money spend in the summer/winter mercato didn't improve us a bit. The only reason he still is here after crushing defeats, EL exit, Coppa exit is simply cos of the lack of better options. There are always options but there's no reason to go for a worser one.

But there's not much logic in that, if so. Because if he keeps doing this bad we'll sack him eventually and it will be before season ends. It doesn't have to mean that our potentially new coach will do any worse than him so why sustain? I don't know, to me it looks weird and like we're hoping to see a miracle from DN out of nowhere.

Now we can keep him till the end of the season. The damage is done and no coach can save us. No need to fire him anymore.
Hope those who a month and a half ago thought it's silly to fire him are now happy with what happened.

So what fucked up excuse will be bring today? He'll probably say that we created a lot of chances and thats whats important and not the wins or the points. I mean, after all, he doesn't even think Coppa Italia is important cuz we never do good there anyway.
