Traore, Rinaudo, De Ceglie, Pepe, Quagliarella those are our injured players. Other than Quag who had a great performance since the start of the season, Non has really made the difference to our team.

By the way, injuries is a part of the game and there is no way a season will go by without players getting injured. So the argument that injuries is what hurting this team is pretty poor.

Beating Inter + milan and losing to the likes of lecce and Bari !! Hardly can blame that on injuries, more like we have one fucked up mentality in this team.
Obviously I'm not on about our recent games with a fuller squad.....

So which matches do you have in mind?
Up until the injuries kicked at the end of October, we had few injuries (long term Buffon, Martinez and a few niggles) and were 15 from 27, which is a reasonable start. Then we lost De Ceglie to a bad one, we had 9 injured and by the start of November we had 14 players injured either out or struggling on. We went from a good spell up to the Milan win (De Ceglie :(), injuries, to 3 points from 12. Got a few back. 7 points from 9. Then Parma, bang, Quagliarella gone, followed by most of our other forwards, 1 from 12. Matri came in and the other strikers bar Quag came back. Unlucky against Palermo and then two wins plus the Lecce debacle. 6 from 12 therefore.

Do you really believe our performances were that great? How many times did we throw away a lead? How many draws were part of that "unbeaten" streak? The cracks were obvious, and the signs of our demise were there for everyone to see. We play like a provincial team against the bigger clubs and manage to scrape by. We hardly dominate games. We rely on individual brilliance rather than the collective, as is signified by our horrendous performances of late, now that Quag is injured and Krasic has gone AWOL.

Didn't say we were great. Clearly we have drawn too many games, you only have to look at the table and compare us with Napoli.

Besides, winning games > dominating games.

I have to disagree JJ, even with our full squad, or lets say 80% of our full squad we are struggling and not even playing a decent football let alone picking 3points.

I dont know what are our options are if we remove him at this point of the season but i would take momo for coach just to see the team change its attitude and try something new.

But doing better and 2 points off top. As a work in progress team together for 3-4 months I wasn't at all concerned that we weren't playing great at the time, that's unreasonable to expect.
