Well we still can't really see his touch on the team but I am willing to wait a while on that as long as the results come with some potential performance wise.

I dont like however how he considers Amauri and Iaq as a "partnership" ! Amauri barely moves without the ball (he's been absolutely horrible btw) and iaq is just a workhorse with no brain.

I really hope DN gets it right but I dont think it would be.

Del Neri: 'Stats mean nothing at City'
Wednesday 29 September, 2010
Gigi Del Neri sees the Manchester City trip as a test “to verify our progress” and ignores the statistics on the leaky Juventus defence.
Although the Bianconeri have an impressive scoring rate, they also have the worst defensive record in Serie A.

Juve have conceded 10 goals in five rounds – not counting their 3-3 Europa League result with Lech Poznan – while City let in just two in six games.

“These are statistics that can be overturned, but it will be an entertaining clash,” said Del Neri.

“We are facing an important side in English and European football, so we hope to do well.”

The Coach could be tempted to rest star players ahead of the Serie A showdown with Inter.

“I take it one game at a time. Tomorrow we are facing a very strong side that was built to win.

“It is going to be an important test to verify our progress and see if we have achieved the right maturity.

“Tomorrow we must try to produce good football, then we will think about Sunday’s match with Inter,” continued Del Neri.

“I don’t think it will be so much a physical strain to play two big games so close together, but the important thing is to be psychologically fit.”

made some big decisions today, which took some balls, but only the Sissoko one really paid off.

Martinez was useless, again.

DC is crap, will remain so, no point persisting with that idea either.
