Del Neri: 'Time to change'
Juventus boss Gigi Del Neri feels that his side have no more excuses after adding three new players to their squad during the January transfer window.
The Old Lady brought in Luca Toni, Andrea Barzagli and Alessandro Matri to bolster their ranks ahead of the second half of the season.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow's clash with Palermo, he was asked if finishing in fourth place is really possible for Juventus after poor recent form.
“In football anything is possible,” Del Neri said. “Even third and second… It all depends on how the others do and us too.
“Now it's time to change the trend. Juve can't play well for six months and then forget about itself. I don't believe that there has been an involution.”
Turning his attention to new signing Alessandro Matri, Del Neri said: “He will definitely play tomorrow. We now have a natural centre-forward who can give us a big hand.”
