Del Neri has only one problem IMO. And that is fixing this goddamn unorganized defense that we have. That's where the problem is, or the main problem lets say.

Offensively? We are scoring pretty well.

We are not playing an ugly football. In-fact, we are playing the best football since 5, 6 years now IMO. We are just not organized at the back and we're limited when our opponents hit us on the counter attack.

Del Neri is trying a lot, it shows, I'm glad we are playing some decent football but he still has to fix it at the back. I don't know if it's the offside system or anything else but a solution must be found.

If this is fixed, then just like Del Piero and Del Neri said a week ago, we would have no limits and we are a team to fear.

He also must work on his substitutions as well...
Last night, we were 1 goal down when he put on Amauri and Iaquinta together! it would have been better if he introduced one and then evaluated the situation later.

So far, his substitutions weren't convincing...

Agree completely. We are actually playing decent football, but seem incapable of locking opponents out. He's known for his work ethic and organisation so I actually have some faith he will improve the defence, but he wont do it over night.

I do still have question marks about our attack. They have had a good start, but I'm a bit concerned that we dont have any true finishers, and I cant see our midfield contributing with a lot of goals for the long term

The defensive line is poor and it's concerning how easy it is for players to make runs in between our defenders whilst retaining possession. There are quite a lot of times you'll find Bonucci or Motta playing an opposition player onside this season as well, when they shouldn't be.

Defensively, I'm not all that impressed with Bonucci to be honest. Slow reader of the game and he pays for it because he isn't agile.

Amauri has never played a good game in his life... atleast Iaquinta got into Amauri's position and scored.
I'm not a big fan of Amauri but to say that he has never played a good game in his life is nonsense.

Completely agree.

Unfortunately I can only see our defence improving over time, we have changed so much at the back that it is normal that they are going to have problems as they haven't developed an understanding yet.

I just hope that they can get that understanding quickly.
