Remember how old Cannavaro did well for us. I'm not comparing the two of them, no.

But Lucio was a very good player for Inter. Dunno if people expected a WC player which is in this case fine to yell, but do actually people think he's a bad defender? Oh and he is an arrogant fucktard, yes. But for free I'd say he's a very tempting pick at this point.

Nice move, he still can play, got CL experience, plays in Serie A and we can calmly look for a younger CB for the future.

Conte is looking for some CL experience defender. Being familiar with league and coming for free, Marotta couldn't resist the temptation.
But strangely, this move came out of nowhere.

He can still play at a good level, and 2 years sounds about right for someone of his age, and more improtantly he will be on a free transfer.


Very, very, very solid backup.

And that is what he is being brought in to be

I don't think that is much of a leap. i won't deny that he did well for Inter, for a season, with Jose, but he was a retarded bonhead for Bayern Munich. Absolute fucktard.

Different circumstances, though.


He won't be a starter unless due to injuries and suspensions, and at best he would be the first option off the bench if Chiellini remains in a LB role, and at worst, he is the second option.


And he wouldn't be bad for a backup at all.
