As everyone else i dont like this move for the glaring reason hes an ex merda

but from an economic point of view, from the standpoint that he is prob made aware he is 4th choice CB...

This move makes a world of sense...

EVERYONE WAS SAYING THE SAME OF PIRLO LAST YR...ARE WE A RETIREMENT HOME NOW COMPARING US TO MILAN??

But where is Pirlo tonight...the praise of all footy press world wide

Not that Lucio has any chance of getting there now, but after last year..I think the club is owed some more trust on our part in their dealings

Especially with Conte at the helm..if he is fine with this transfer, then by all means I am too

Where is Alen?

Average age of the team with Lucio is now what?

If Conte can do with Lucio what he did with Barzagli and Bonucci (2nd half of season) then so be it.

I still think Lucio is a disgusting player, though.

A proven non Italian classy CB, that can offer a solution here and now?
Free of charge?
Well done Marotta!
Though i would prefer someone 2 years younger, we can always find a free agent later...
This Euro has proved what i was saying for years, Italy does not makes defenders as before and we need to look elsewhere, at least for one CB.

Yes i would prefer us to invest the 15 we spent on Isla for being our third CM or RB sub, on a CB and buy a proper CB for a change.
Because every single year we spend everything on CMs and SSs and only get cheap/free defenders.
Buying a second CB, or even starter CB, is a priority to me than a 3rd RB/CM.

I really hope that Lucio will stay healthy and contribute.
For one Barzagli, we had a load of Knezevic, Grossos, Zegliers etc
It will be a great prestige blow to Inter if we pull this, Lucio surely has the class, hopefully Conte will give him the form!

Yep. That 500k we spent on Barzagli was a blockbuster that blew up in our face, wasn't it? Pirlo for free was a disaster too.

But i am not right that we spent most of our budget on CM and SS and not investing on defenders?
Isnt this proved already? I saw the pattern, i called it a mistake, when nobody else consider it, and history has proved me right to criticize it.
As we have suffered quite a lot from our defense and the trend of avoid investing there was consistent enough to prove that it was a strategic choice.
So no matter what you haters say, the facts are there for everyone to see and judge by himself...

We're not hating. Give your fellow posters some credit for being upbeat instead of being constantly pessimistic. You're just simply so unaware... :sergio:

We had the best defensive record in Serie A and the whole of Europe, but yet, history has proven Cronios right :touched:
