RIP, Luci...

It was both interesting & touching to view the sympathies that came from the world of pop music as well as classical. TG24 (Sky Italia) today reminded us that Luciano promoted & performed in a number of concerts that combined both sets of music with artistes from all over the world which brought people together in the name of many worthy causes...

Pavarotti did so much to make modern opera cool.

And I had no idea he was a big juventino.

RIP, bro. You'll always rock in my book.

From an article:

ON SOCCER AND THE THREE TENORS:
"We are supporters of three different teams. Pavarotti is supporting an Italian team called Juventus, Domingo is supporting Real Madrid and I [Carreras] support Barcelona. We argue about soccer but we agree about almost everything else."
