In any case, our board not hesitating in offering Toni such ridiculous wages for a player of his age (and given his waning pedigree) while stalling on renweing Del Piero's contract, and only offering him 1M+ bonuses at the end of it all. Truly pathetic, and disrespectful to our legend

The difference is there was a urgency to acquire another forward in january, and Toni was deemed the perfect opportunity at the time, Del Piero's contractual situation is not exactly the boards highest priority right now and neither should it be as they should be planning for the summer which they are
