How do u find Yuckinta usefull? In ANY way?
maybe he takes out Ale's trash every night but other than that he is pretty useless...

Actually another reason why i would like to get rid of him is because he is still "young" and some team might be interested in him...keeping him at juve is small team mentality coz it shows we are ready to invest another couple of years in him..

sell him and buy a quality striker, keep toni as a back-up because we allready have him for another year and there is no way we are getting rid of him,no even for free

I'd keep Iaquinta, because he is faster and he can create danger, he also shows alot of fighting spirit once he is on the field, it's a shame that he is injured most of the season, mr Toni with his turning with the speed of a truck with 4 flat tires needs a high ball or a deflected shot to score. Tho i should not complain if he keeps on scoring goals for us.

again, you are preferring money over performance. I would rather have Iaquinta over Toni as a 4th forward, that's the question. I am not asking who would bring more money in transfer market.

I am sure Iaquinta would perform better than Toni as a back up!
I am preferring money over performence because i am sure the current juve management will prefer yuckinta over buying a new top quality striker....i dont think the dynamic duo of dumb nerdy and marotta will use a fully fit IAQ as a fourth striker.

If we seel him and buy, lets say someone like neymar or sanchez then look at the options we have upfront..

Ale,neymar, matri, quag and then comes the fifth striker in either Amauri :scared: IAQ :depressed or toni :wallbang:

Iaquinta might be more useful when fit, but that is growing rare. With Quagliarella and Matri both being better than him, it would be worth selling him to improve other areas of the team IMO.
It was a mistake to bring Toni, we shouldn't have bought him. and at the end of this season, we should have sold both Iaquinta and Amauri. I would have kept Matri and Del Piero as back ups, and keep Quagliarella as a starter, and a quality one next to him. This is how you make a good team, that can compete for scudetto. We have this potential, yet we became to a pathetic team, that we prefer to have Toni as a back up, so we save some money! Just like we sold Balzaretti and replaced him Molinaro, to win a million :sergio:

Toni came for free, but his salary is a mystery, we still don't know how much he earns a season to judge if the transfer was good or bad.

We don't think any different. as you see in my previous post. The problem is, we won't be able to sell all those Iaq, Toni and Amauri, sadly..

We have 3 to get rid of, and it won't be easy. Amauri should go, no one can argue about that, and it's between Iaq and Toni. If it was up to me, would sell both, but if we had to keep one (as a 4th striker and not a first team player) I would pick Iaq to stay.

Indeed! After coming back from injury (seems he was rushed to play), he looked like shit, worthless, while we all know, he is much better when he was fit. I remember we all appreciated his fighting spirit, he didn't show any of those after the injury, that's because he was still injured, and we can't blame him for that.

It's unbelievable that these two can't see these problems. We are one of the teams that has the hugest salaries in the world, and yet look at the shitty team we have, and where we are in the standing. :sergio:

I really wonder if there is an opposition in Juventus community (not that Moggi rat, he doesn't belong to Juve community), do they speak about this? do they put pressure on the board, or all of them are like happy three friends?

Its more like chinese communism, just one party and no opposition.

I have been saying this all along...i dont have the biggest problem with the team we have right now...my biggest problem are the owners and agnelli who are fine with Marotta and Del neri...we made a mistake of not firing del neri and find out what this team was really capable of under a coach who have a mentality fit enough for JUVENTUS standards...
i am even more scared what will happen next year when we go for major changes and buy some expensive players only for them to be influnced by the DN midtable mentality and be seen as dead wood/flops.

You are way too optimist for me, I don't think we will get any good players. And I am pretty sure like you, that Del Neri will stay :sergio:

Yuckinta is as useless as they come. He has had his time in the sun, but now it's time to move on. He is getting older, is constantly injured; heck, he is never even fit enough to make an impact or prove his detractors wrong. Another waste of space that needs to be shown the door!

this shows the common opinion around here that football is about a few decisions per week by the coach. sorry for using this analogy but it's most probably not like in football manager when a pop-up comes up and you decide to deal with an even by either a) "talk to player" or b) "fine player" once a week and you're done.

it would be a really simply job to coach a football team if every decision that is needed to be successful is obvious to even remote fans that do not even once attend training.

let's just keep in mind that there are probably a hundred of decisions a coach has to make in a month regarding players evaluation, positioning, substitution, relations to players and between them.

it's like you're saying "baaah, that bit of driving. i can drive too. let me take seat in a F1 racing car... i would do better maneuvers than them and don't crash into others".

its most of the time easier than it looks and does afford more knowledge... i'd like to know who here actually was a coach of a football team for a few seasons ...

my point is that there are probably more than these two problems you pointed out for the coach and they might appear to be more important (to him )...

Is this one of those "Look here, I am mature and intellect" kind of your posts? :shifty: Stop trying, you aren't..

We are talking about obvious problems, that 99% of the forum agrees (Oh I forgot, you are above those 99%) and any football fan would realized how terrible decisions this board took, not just now, even before they signed these players and the manager..

You sound like you are talking to someone that is complaining about "Why we didn't sign Pastore, Messi, Dzeko, Sanchez".
