It was only a matter of time. He has been having fitness troubles for a while now with various injuries. He missed games with Roma and Genoa as well, despite his limited stay at both clubs.

It's the risk you run when you decide to sign older players. Looking at the members of our squad who do not get repeatedly injured, the majority are in their 20's.

This is true. Say what you want about Toni but he knows how to position himself, while Amauri always seemed to be one step behind and one moment too late, and well, good positioning is one of the most important qualities for a forward.
