we can agree that creating chances was not our problem this season. how often did we say "man, if we just put our chances away we would have won" and you can see that toni has a bit of an inzaghi-gene being where the ball rebounds to and slotting in.

as i said, he can't forget how to shoot and stuff... del neri did manage to get melo to perform and if del neri achieves to give confidence to toni, he will do well

since tonis strenght never actually depended on speed, pace or anything else age-related i think he could give us a few decent matches and it is probably not bad to have to big strikers in amauri and toni, so we can always play the same game tactics and do not need to totally switch tactics, because amauri is injured or vice versa
i was actually about to say that. Toni has never relied on pace, for someone like michael owen who has and now lost his pace is what i call a truely finished player, Toni on the other hand simply needs the players around him to provide the service, and i get the feeling that he and krasic will work for each other very well, as we have seen so far this season krasic does all the leg work, but lacks the finish at times, this is where i believe Toni will come into play.

Like someone pointed out, the only player to miss more chances this half season than IQ is Luca Toni... So I hope he somehow finds his scoring touch out of thin air, because if we ever needed it, its now.

Toni has a pretty good technique actually. He just always looks so retarded because he's so damn big, every move seems so uncoordinated.

This one is the best:
