I’m actually happy for Spinazzola. I don’t hate Roma as much as the Milans and Napolis and he’ll get to play more. He deserves it. We get a young prospect who by all accounts is a real talent, and now don’t HAVE to sell Cancelo.

Is this deal actually happening? Are we getting a promising young Italian full back + 10m for Spina?

I like Spina and I think he could be very useful but that’s a pretty decent deal...

Spinazzola and Pellegrini medicals today

By Football Italia staff

Leonardo Spinazzola and Luca Pellegrini are having their medicals this morning in an exchange deal between Roma and Juventus.
The negotiations developed remarkably quickly on Friday and found everyone in agreement for the two left-backs.
Juve rate Spinazzola at €25m, while Pellegrini is valued at €15m, so the deal was struck by Roma handing over Pellegrini plus €10m.
Their medicals are set for this morning and will be very important, as both players saw their careers stall over serious injuries.
Spinazzola is 26 years old and came up through the Juve academy, but really made his mark during a two-season loan spell with Atalanta.
He only managed 14 competitive appearances for the Bianconeri this term, scoring one goal and providing an assist.
It's reported his contract will be a five-year deal worth €2.5m per season plus bonuses.
Pellegrini is only 20 and impressed with Italy at the U20 World Cup, while he spent the last six months on loan at Cagliari.
Born and raised in Rome, he is the latest homegrown player to be shipped out of the Stadio Olimpico.
His salary at Juventus in a five-year contract will be €1.3m plus bonuses.

it's already done, bar something totally unexpected happening .

Sad to see Leo go tbh. No idea why we’ve been so keen to get rid of him ever since we signed him.

Regardless, welcome Luca. Big wraps on this kid, had a decent season at Cagliari and was one of Italy’s best players at the recent U/20 World Cup.
