His main issues have been injuries imo. He had a good season for Cagliari two years ago, had something like 6 assists. He’s got talent, but hasn’t really put it all together.

Given that we probably won't see Sandro get back to his best, I'd take my chances on this guy and try and give him as much playing time as possible. Old Sandro is a distant memory.
