Marrone. 
Decent showing, although he got a bit too confident at times which put him, and his teammates, in trouble several times. You can tell though, that he has some vision, he's strong and seems to have that little something special about him. Doesn't always opt for the safe way out of a situation but he's a lot more unpredictable than Pazienza and tends to create a thing or two, set things in motion with fast decisions. He will have to improve his decision-making at times, but still.. I like him.
Pazienza is a safer bet, but he often takes the flow out of an attack by just automatically passing the ball back to a defender or any player behind him. It's as if he's too afraid to make a mistake or simply not aware of his surroundings. He's a decent player as a pure DM, but offers too little in certain situations.
I hope Marrone can step it up, same to Appelt. I'd love to have these youngsters feature in our midfield. :xfinger:

Marrone will grow, he showed his potential again last night and he isn't afraid to try and stay in the flow of the game (which is conte's tactics), like you said with Pazienza slowing the flow, Marrone seems to go with it, not against it.

I see no reason how or why he couldn't offer more than Pazienza does.

He was quite tidy at times yeah (there was a moment when he took it around two Bologna players and left them standing), just needs to develop his game at a top level and gain experience and get rid of those flaws you talk about. Generally I think he's got the technical ability to be good enough at a higher level.

He needs to be around Pirlo, Vidal and Marchisio...not some provincial team. You want him to learn his role, well he has 3 great players each with different characteristics to learn from and gain an understanding of Contes tactics that he won't learn anywhere else but here.
No more loans man, not for youth players in their twenties. It's time to start grooming them from here and not some other club who we have no control where they play and how they develope our own players.

He would be fine. He opened up play with some cheeky little loopers over the top which was nice to see, not afraid to get stuck in as well. He offers some good cover much like Pazienza but his vision is better IMO which is why I would rather start getting him some PT in the remainder of the season (with Appelt as well). No need to spend on new players & wages like Montolivio for example.
