Mano is short for "hermano", which is pretty much the equivalent of calling someone a wannabe hip hop gangster in Brazil. That picture of him on the first page looks very mano-ish, even moreso because of the braces.

Unfortunately I think Fabiano is not the best solution. Don't want to see him as a long term solution here. Forlan is a better option. The problem is dropping 10m here and using up Amauri's spot, with someone who will not be a drastic improvement considering the alternates who might cost a little more but will be more viable, cost effective solutions in the long run. Reason being, that a purchase like this doesn't guarantee Champions league action.

Of course we could argue, none of the more expensive solutions come with guarantees either, but I feel if nothing else, they may come with better resale value compared to Fabiano. I still think an Amauri plus 12-15m deal could free up Benz but our limited resources restrict us from making an approach.

But He sure is better than Fabiano.. plus we can get something out of Tiago now that we have the opportunity.

I never liked Fabiano tbh. I dont think he is the type of player that would fix much of our problems. He might have the same impact Amauri had in the beginning, with a similar end result.

He would definitely do better than Amaur, but then again he is a Brazilian, and aged :scared:

I prefer not sigining another garbage, as we have enough forwards, we should buy much younger one, at summer, that after we sell Amauri..

Forlan would make more of an impact, but his age is killer.

I'd prefer Forlan, but I'd take Fabiano no problem.
