they are just playing we just have to entice them a bit more...Lazio have become a selling club, Juve need to be more forceful with them

If there is some way to get this dude to juve, do it! seriously, he's versatile which is pretty much what we need back there. We need someone who can replace either LB and RB and i know no better player than de silvestri. He'll be great one day! I'd prefer him even over zapata (position-wise anyway), and i'd love to see him as our last big transfer.

Everytime i have seen De Silvestri he has impressed. He is strong, willing to come forward and doesn't forget his defensive duties. I have no doubt he will be a key player for the Azzurri in the future.

Surely we could trade Almiron and some cash for him.

almiron and cash? don't think so. a player has to go cuz with any deal for de silvestre, but i don't think lazio will take almiron. but given that it looks like zebina is leaving, de silvestri will be great to fill that role.....actually, improve the RB position.

he he's great imagine him and D.C as our two wingbacks in a few years time, mouthwatering. I doubt lazio will let him go though.

De Ceglie is not nearly as good defensively as De Silvestri is. Imo it would be bloody great to have

De Silvestri---XXX---Chiellini---De Ceglie

XXX=someone experienced (Mellberg,Andrade or Legrottaglie) who in 3 years time is replaced by someone like Zapata and Santacroce. No need to buy new defenders for the next decade.

I'm the new centerback? Sure! :D

Yeah, either Zapata or Santacroce would be a great addition, the only problem is that their market prices have soared and will continue to do so...

i think that would make our defensive row too young all in all. Chiellini is a set piece. No need to worry about him for the next ten years. Second CB-Spot remains a bit unsure. Andrade 'could' fill it, but no one knows if he can come back. Alternatives (Mellberg Legro) might do the job as well for some time. Our LB and RB need some attention though. Zebina is suspension-prone and not the best anymore. Grygera is decent, but nothing more than that. He does his job, but is nowhere near brilliance. Molinaro, well he's molinaro and De Ceglie, although i rate him pretty high, i fear he'll be too young and unexperienced to convince immediately. De Silvestri would be a great addition for the future. De Ceglie - Chiellini (- CB) - De Silvestri might as well be the next starting XI defense-row of the azzurri in 3 or 4 years. How sick would that be!!! Get him ASAP!!! Anyone know how we could make any deal with lazio? Would they be interested in some loan/comproprieta-deal? Would they want an almiron? How are our relationships with them?

i've never seen him play in real life but judging from the rave reviews u guys give, i say lets go get him
Don't believe everything you hear.. But in this case i like De Silvestre a lot, he brings a certain strength to the team he's playing in and most of the time seems to own the right side whether it be defending or getting past his opposition player and sending in some good passes to team-mates... It'd make sense to buy him now before his price rockets and due to his inexperience you could ease him into the team by letting him be the reserve RB untill he shows enough skill & consistency with which a starting role needs.. Can't see it happening because we havent been linked to him much & Lotito seems determined to keep him
