I'm looking for players in Southern California, Orange County to be exact (Anaheim would be even greater) that would like to start up a team for both league play and fun.

So far the only requirements I can think of are the following.

1) Atleast 17 years of age, if your under that age and think you can hold your own with older people then feel free to try it out.

2) Reliable transportation to games and from games regardless of the importance of the game league or otherwise, dedicated individuals are a must, not someone that says they'll go and not show up, as I think everyone will agree that its stupid to pull a no show.

3) Football boots and Shin Pads

4) And last but definitely not least, NOT be a douche and overly aggresive, that you'll play like Materazzi and high boot someones face.

5) Not be a complete newbie, as newbies are bound to get hurt easily if they dont have experience in jumping when being slide tackled.

Games will take place in Anaheim
At the moment there are 3 people included so far in the squad and im looking for possibly 16 with a max of 20, but thats not the 'official' limit as 'for fun' games can be setup so atleast 22 people would be good to have

ALL POSITIONS ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE TO DATE 05-10-06 October 5, 2006

If you're interested in playing either league or fun feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Erm...I don't really think this is quite effective. There aren't that many Americans here, and only a small percentage of that is from your region. You're probably better of with just hanging posters at supermarkets.

Yeah, and on top of that, your average american doesn't find football remotely interesting... so i guess really the only thing to do is ask football shops to let me post or have them let me put a pile of small flyers advertising that =D

wow...so many people in your area and you can't make a football team. sounds amazing actually. all i have to do is walk to the neares field and play, usually there's too many of us so we make a mini tournament. i couldn't imagine it any other way.

oh well, what can you do, go play baseball. :D

That's not true at all. There are far more competetive players in Socal than Norcal, and here they're growing on trees. Go around the local clubs and pick up the players who either don't make it, or hate the coaches.
