I have spent very few time with this lovely community since September. I bet many of you have forgotten me. I have been going through some really hard time of my life. I have seriously injuried myself during a football match. (Tibia and ACL) I might not be able to play my favourite sport ever again. I had also found that my girlfriend has been cheating on me. We dated for more than 4 years and did everything to win her back, of course, I failed. Life is a tragedy with a little enjoyment occasionally. Have you ever came across some really tough times and how do you overcome them? Or if you have won an ex back or recover a bad injury, please advice me

Don't worry, mate...

Life is ups & downs... You have to suffer the downs to feel the nice taste of the ups...

And one proverb I like to say at such times: "If you wake up one day being fucked, try to enjoy it"...

In the end, please don't take Menace's advices...

your first mistake was trying to get her back. move on, it's gonna be hard but it will pass. trying to get her back will just prolong your pain.

heads up and get a new one. ;)

its not that easy to be honest
well i got out of a 2.5 year relationship few months ago and it's not that hard as well. then again i wasn't cheated on, so i don't know how that feels like. but still even better, get it together and show her you've moved on. you really DO have to move on. from personal experience, the easiest way is with someone else.

That sucks about the injury, a friend of mine broke his leg a few years back, he loved playing football, he was part of the university team and he was a really good player. He started to get depressed cos he couldnt play but one day he was offered a part-time job coaching a school team (12-15 year olds), it offered him a chance to still be part of the game. He changed so much, he became much happier.
About your GF, the guys in the forum are right, forget about her, she cheated on u, thats her problem, she'll regret it sooner or later. you have nothing to be ashamed of.
try to post in the forums more often, discuss football and other stuff, get ur mind off the past.
