Sampdoria put a 3-0 scoreline past Carrarese. Ruben Olivera, on loan from Juventus, was the star of the show with a goal and an assist for Parola. Massimo Bonanni converted a late penalty.

With Miccoli's constant proclamations of his willingness to play at Juventus again sans Del Piero and Juve's repeated rejections of offers from Benfica, I can't help but feel that the management are gearing the him for a post-Del Piero era return.

The two names that I dont understand is

Ruben Olivera and Andrea Gasbarroni.

Both are good players in midfield and have creativity, Olivera is not so consistant but he does have that spark and Gasbarroni had a good season last year.

agreed. Olivera and Gasbaronni had their chance, as did others such as Masiello. but the club keeps giannichedda and legro.

the team had a good balance of experience and youth but as the transfer campaign continues, it is getting off track. We dont need all experienced players to make it back to serie A.
