This guy is probably having the best week of his life on a professional level, really hope he can grow from here on because he still shows some lapses at times but overall he is much more involved and leaving a positive mark on our games…

He sure is turning jeers into cheers in this start of the season.
Did you see him defending last night? He is one of the reasons we where chasing the game to begin with.

He was maybe one of the reasons but than again so was the rest of our defense and midfield, not to mention our GK… as i mentioned, he still has lapses but can’t deny that the good he brought in this last week largely outweighs the bad, if you referring to the pk specifically then imo that was a harsh one on him while at the same he should have won us a pk too for a handball in the first half which wasn’t awarded, anyway point is he is way less of a worry now than he was last season.

Against Inter he played well. But last night I think the goal is clouding his performance.

The first goal he basically gives Adayemi a free hit on goal. The penalty was harsh but again he reads the situation badly and is too far away from the attacker allowing him to get a shot away. Similar situation on the third.

You can't defend like that against decent teams.

I just don't agree.
He did almost moved out of Adeyemi's way for the 1st goal, he did not closed down Couto for the 3rd and gave the penalty away. +general fuckery and lack of positional awareness.
He did manage to score an equalizer, good for him. But he is still net negative.

From hated to celebrated.
LOL I presently do like him, hope to continue liking him.

After our third goal, Tudor sent Kelly in attack.
So he's taking over Gatti's role? Seriously though thinking now he still isn't going to be a good defending back. I felt better about until reading post.

Ok, i will maybe rephrase, perhaps just by his usual low standards he is atm more on the positive side than on the negative, don’t want to overhype him by any means, he is still a question mark, but i just see him as bit less at fault than y’all although he surely should have done better, anyway i still maintain that his goals this week are definitely the highlights of his entire career and do make him as slightly more likable than before.

Each CL goal is easily another €5m-10m up his valuation. Not even kidding here. A Kelly with 0 CL goals is maybe worth €20m. A Kelly with 2 CL goals is €30-35m.
There were a couple of Real Madrid fans at the pub last night, they stood outside and I told them... You can keep Huijsen because we got Lloyd Kelly and you can't afford him now lol

Lol, nice strategy.
They are so dumb now they'll think he's great and they will offer us good money.
I got a Nottingham Forest friend, all summer I was trying to sell him lloyd kelly and joke how if they signed him Nottingham Forest will go on to do well...

He even asked me about Savona and I told him that he's good but the real deal is Kelly, he kept dismissing the idea and laughing it off.

I got the last laugh now

Why would you do that
Because he's now worth more than what Madrid paid for Huijsen.

PlusValenza incoming!
