What do you define living life? What do you do when you're living life? Are there some moments that are radically more valuable than others? Do you feel bad about yourself for not doing something because you think you should be? What is it that you do and what is it you wish you were doing? Do you let people tell you what to do? Do you let people steer you in a certain direction or are you very focused on making every single decision yourself without being influenced by anyone? When do you feel really good about yourself?

Fairly broad subject, so take your pick. I'm most interested in what people do and how they feel when they say they're "living life" as opposed to "wasting time".

from the moment u are born, u start dying. thats what ur body is doing. so basically, ur trying to find ways to fill the time inbetween. so nothing really is a waste of time, its a less productive use of time. but then again, productivity is a difficult thing to measure. so i'd so there's no such thing as living life and wasting life, its just one big time pass.

My idea of "living life" is trying to experience to everything to the fullest I can, and not being afraid to try something because its new or not the norm. I think personally to many people get used to what they know, and never try to broaden their horizons, like most people are content for example to live their whole lives in one country and never travelling to experience what other cultures are like.

So my idea of living life, is to experience as many things as I can to the fullest. To live a full life and I can die happy

so how do you define what time is valuable and what isn't?

why would u want to define what time is valuable and what isn't. its a very subjective thing, so its nearly impossible to have a universal definition on how to spend time valuably.

Everything? What is that? Drunkenness, violence, drug use, drunk driving, hatred, abuse? You made a pretty broad statement.

Do you set out to learn the most you can about life? How do you broaden your horizons?

Its opinionated, so really you cant define what is productive and what isnt, because for one person what they do might be productive to them, and yet in someone else's mind it might be a waste of time.

But then of course you'd want to know what your personal definition of living life is; that way you'd not 'waste time', or as you put it, not spend time less valuably than you could have.

Some people say the most valuable time spent is among friends and family. There are different takes on it. I'm curious about the situation when a person says "I'm sick of wasting my life, I want to live life" and what they actually do.

I dont know, I'd like to think I wont be stupid and try something incredible dumb, but I dont know enough about myself I guess to be able to answer that question right now. But for me just to say if something came along, which would only affect me and nobody else then I would be willing to try it out at least once.

Do you set out to learn the most you can about life? How do you broaden your horizons?
To learn as much as I can, we are forever learning everyday of our lives we learn something new about us, the world or the people around us. I kinda answered this in the above statement but I will say it again. How to broaden your horizon in my view is to try things, someone can tell you what something is like, but you'll never really know if you dont try it yourself.

How do you feel about living in a small town as opposed to a big city in terms of living life? Is one closer to the goal than the other?

I hate it, I have taken everything I can learn from this place, I cant wait to leave, yeah its a nice place to grow up, but there is very little I havent done here.

Easily in my opinion living in a big city there is alot more one could do/experience there, so really I cant wait to leave.

As I understand it this about 'your personal' take on life, so spit it out according to you.
I just realised that to me a perfect day is when my family (my wife & I) is happy. Everything I do is calibrated by what effects it will have on family.

That's exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. But now I'm afraid someone is going to call you boring :D

wouldn't you say some of the most normal, obvious things in life can also be the most under appreciated? :)

When you stop to take a moment and reflect mostly you'll find that your priorities are all mixed up. Atleast I do .... so yeah the small things rank up there. :D

I can answer one of your questions at this moment, I will get back to the others later.

Wasting time is part of living life.
