Alright, sportsfans. Rafa promises to make up for the Figo deal he buggered this summer by bringing a top class right Mid to Anfield. He also promises to bring in a top class center back as well. Too bad we have to wait til January to see if his words are true. And Mark Gonzalez will more than likely have to wait til January to arrive in Anfield. Damn the Chilean government, we could use his talents now. I scream for more use of 20 year old Momo Sissoko. Maybe pairing a midfield line up with Gerrard and Sissoko in the middle and Louis Garcia and Xabier Alonso on the wings, even though thats not necessarily their position I think it is our best shot. Our next three matches are in the premiership and Anderlecht in the CL. I fully expect the squad to qualify for the next round against Anderlecht and then concentrate all their power into nine points against, West Ham, Portsmouth, and Astin Villa. If we dont, I will officially account the season as finished.

Aside from Sissoko, you're forgetting Alonso, one of the best mids to arive in Britain in a long time. I'd go with a midfield of:

Gerrard    Alonso    Kewell/Garcia

You've got to go with two strikers now, so Cisse and Crouch? Still need a new centre half though.

I agree with that midfield....I heard that Kewell was playing well......could it be true?? it's really a pretty good midfield. now if only Cisse would start the matches, maybe with Morientes? I think that morientes will start scoring, hopefully soon. you don't rack up the number of goals he has in the CL without some sort of quality

I agree. There is no doubt Peter Crouch is a world class talent, but he seems in a slump. Perhaps a day off would be to his benefit. I agree with Morientes and Cisse up front. Or Maybe putting Kewell up top as well. Who knows? Right now we need one thing. Goals. I think if we are to score goals, they will def come through Fernando.

yeah, Cisse is doing well but I think Morientes (when he finds his touch) will really give us an extra dimension.

yeah you should check their sight. they have everything you could want. Im gonna pick that new shirt up sometime after christmas. It would also be nice to pick a top center back to go with Carragher. Apparently Rafa has a long list of guys for January.

Xabier is a true deep-lying semi-playmaker D-Middie. He is similar to Pirlo, but not nearly as offensive, and much better defensively.

But take him out of the deep midfield, and you will see what ownage on the "right" looks like.
