Gerrard Snubs Chelsea

Kop hero Gerrard has snubbed the chance to almost double his money to £105,000 a week and decided to stay at Liverpool.

Gerrard said: "For the first time in my career I have really thought about moving"
"But I love Liverpool and the supporters and that is what it has come down to. I have gone with the decision that is in my heart and I am 100% committed to it".

-------------------------------------------
That's too bad, I thought I would see Gerrard will play side by side with Frank Lampard, Arjen Robben and Claude Makalele in Chelsea's midfield.
But it's his decision anyway.
Btw, i've heard that someone has sent him a threat mail, if he leaves Merseyside, he will kill him,is that true?:scared:

I didn't hear about that...and I don't think it's true....Stevie said that he had followed his heart and decided to stay at Liverpool

It's a wise decision as now Liverpool is having a new coach and will be signing new players , and already signed Cisse (this will happen on Thursday), so I guess there would be no reason for Stevie to think about leaving

is he that good:eek:
No. But he might have been, if he got a chance. Even now, he could mature into a good first-teamer, if he gets a chance. Or not - sometimes it's just too late.

Liverpool defeated Wrexham 2-1 in a friendly game....It was Cisse's first game with the Reds

Anthony Le Tallec scored the 2 goals for Liverpool

True, I din know it was official though. I think I only look at channel4 these days, I couldn't care less about what's happening in other transfer markets :)

he'll be a hell of player if he continue to play like this.
Well..to say the truth mate...I don't think he'll play at regular bases..He will be a good substitute.....

How unfortunate. I've always thought one of Le Tallec and Sinama-Pongolle would come good. Speaking of attackers, why in blue hell haven't they not sold the player who is arguably half the reason for Liverpool's downfall? (not Heskey :))
