as a reds follower, and with reds fans in the family, i take notice of them often watching a few games, but i have to say one thing.....sell owen, he comprimises playing styles, and he is jus soo overated for a very limited goalscorer....im sure someone will spend massive on him...real/chelsa/barca??

No Mate..I disagree...Owen is a great striker .. but he just had a bad season...That doesn't mean he's overrated

Plus..We have sold heskey..I don't think we can sell 2 strikers in one season

Plus...Wait for Owen when he plays beside Cisse (if he joined L'Pool)

i have always thought owen is overated, the only time i believe he deserved his status is when he first shot to fame, but as u said this season mediocre (being really fair there), same for last season imo.

Owens style of play inherently needs a big tall mand for flick ons an lay offs, he was shoddy when partnered by baros, thats why he liked playing with emile.

But im a bit biased, after watching him play, and play poorly i have never really liked him too much.
